Editorial Page: Winter 2003
It is unseasonably warm here, in Santa Barbara. We all
love the warm sun on our skin in the middle of winter, but worry if
this is a sign of a long, future of drought for our area. There has
been little rain this season and I long to feel the balmy air of the
tropics. I need a personal change. A trip is developing in my mind...perhaps
it involves a sail boat.
Tropi-Ties has gone through many changes this year. The biggest being
in our catalog. We have started our own swimwear label and the first
swimsuits splashed into our pages last month. We only offer three
styles right now, but expect more in the near future. These suits
are exclusives to Tropi-Ties only. We have learned about what makes
a swimsuit great: wonderful fit, beautiful fabrics and innovative
design. Of course, it has to be reasonably priced. We think we have
done all of these things and we hope you will think so too.
You may notice some changes in our E'zine this issue. For one, we
have slowly been doing away with the thumbnail images and creating
a simpler format for our articles. We have also decided to change
the articles slowly, throughout the quarter, so that you will find
something fresh to read every time that you return. We wish to bring
you the very best reading in personal travelogues and tropical tales
in an easy to use format.
